Version 2.2 of Simple Image Gallery is now
available to download. This version fixes a bug which prevented language strings from being displayed properly in servers running Joomla! 1.5 on PHP 5.2.x. We've also decided to completely separate the plugin into 2 different distributions, one for Joomla! 1.5 and one for 1.6, as this allows for more freedom in tweaking the plugin for each Joomla! version respectively. 2.2 also comes with some minor improvements, namely the addition of the image filename in the alt/title attributes of the gallery links (for a little better SEO) and the change of the use of <style> tags in favor of <link> tags (to make CSS rendering faster on all browsers).
