| Frontpage Slideshow v2.1 is now available |

 We have just released version 2.1 of the Frontpage Slideshow.This is a maintenance release, meaning that no significant features have been added. This release also marks the end of support for Joomla! v1.0.x. Version 2.1 addresses the IE8 cross-fading bug, fixes a number of other user reported issues and introduces an all new MVC-based module, for even more flexibility in customizing your slideshows. HTML is now fully separated from PHP code and the resulting code is also fully valid under the XHTML specs. A new package installer is also introduced making the installation and upgrade process a very simple procedure. If you use v2.0 already, just upload the new package and Frontpage Slideshow will be updated without affecting your slideshow data.
